However, the bottom and wheel wells do not require additional support. PLA was used for printing, but ABS would also be a suitable choice due to its lighter weight. Assembly: The body is designed to snap onto the bottom portion of the car. Solid axles from the example kit were used in conjunction with the motor screws that come pre-installed on the motor. The wheel wells were secured using super glue. The motor was connected to the propeller via a simple screw-on mechanism. Design Process: The design was created using FreeCad for modeling and Netfabb for post-processing and optimization of the design files.
