Pinecone cache with attachment point
thingiverse
We love the idea of this creative caching container by Izak02 but noticed that there was no easy way to attach a wire or string for hanging. I used TinkerCAD to thicken the bottom and add a curved channel to hold an attachment lanyard of your choice. You can still print both parts flat on the bed with no supports. I also embedded our team initials into the bottom for extra personalization. This is not on the model I uploaded here. I used a brim to add extra bed surface for the lid piece. It used 22m of filament and overall height is 108mm printed at 100%. Spray painted dark brown and added light brown highlights for more realism.
