Pinecil Soldering Iron

I find the Pinecil soldering iron does it's job well. With it's wide tip selection and easy temperature adjustment, it's now my preferred bench iron.The Pinecil soldering iron shares much with the TS100, including being able to use the TS100 soldering tips and it's firmware. Here is my 3D model of the Pinecil body.If you're like me, it doesn't matter how much care you take, it's still possible to miss details in the 3D design. Typical missed details that will lead you into problems include: - Parts encroaching on others. - Hole spacings misaligned.A 3D model of each component incorporated into your design helps avoid some of the design pitfalls.I've included the STEP file to assist people to incorporate the model into their designs.I hope you can find this design useful, too.Remember to leave me some feedback or even a tip to keep me enthused to make more of these drawings.
