Made some Pine Car Derby Wheels for My Kids. I Created Two Designs: One Accommodates a Nail as an Axle, the Second Adds a Bearing and a Screw to Make Things Faster. The bearing details are 5mm x 11mm x 4mm. The wheel width is 3mm versus the bearing's 4mm width. There's a little space between the wheel and the derby car. We can't have the wheel touch the car, right? Bearings Similar to RC Car Bearings Used in Traxxas, Axial, Redcat, and Others Are Very Common and Cheap. Check Amazon for Details. My kids aren't old enough for Pine Car Racing This Year, but I Helped Too Much with the Project. Our Cars with the Bearings Are Fast, and the Black One Is Undefeated at School. I Used Washers as Spacers and Screws to Attach the Wheels to the Car. A Large Washer Was Added as a Weight, and Voila! Don't Over-Tighten the Screw to the Car Too Much; It Needs to Be a Little Loose. This Design Was Created by a Friend for Me.
