Pine 64 Snap Enclosure - Pinestyle!
cults3d
This enclosure is tailored specifically for the PINE64, a pioneering $15 64-bit computer that gained massive support on Kickstarter in 2015. Designed to bring something innovative and thrilling to complement this remarkable device, it also makes the most of 3D printing technology. All ports and features remain accessible even when the enclosure is securely fitted, while the snap fits enable you to quickly detach it without requiring any tools. A convenient storage space on top allows for easy organization of SD cards, USB drives, and other essentials. For optimal results, print the bottom part with its base firmly attached to your print plate (I recommend using a brim during printing). In contrast, the top section should be printed upside down with its flat surface resting directly on the print plate. Minimal support material is required for the central part of the design. This particular enclosure design served as a tutorial piece in a Formlabs article titled "How to Design 3D Printed Snap Fit Enclosures."
