Pine 64 Snap Enclosure - Pinestyle!
myminifactory
This is an innovative enclosure designed specifically for the PINE64, a remarkable 64bit computer launched on Kickstarter in 2015 at an affordable price of just $15. The enclosure's unique features and exciting design are perfectly suited to take advantage of 3D printing technology. All ports and features remain easily accessible even when the enclosure is fitted, and the snap fit mechanism allows you to quickly open it without needing any tools. A convenient spot on top provides ample space for storing SD cards, USB sticks, and other accessories. The bottom part of the design prints best with the base securely attached to your print plate, while a brim can be used to ensure a smooth finish. For optimal results, print the top part upside down, allowing it to lay flat on the plate during the printing process. Minimal support material is required for the center section. This design was featured in a tutorial I wrote for Formlabs as part of their article "How to Design 3D Printed Snap Fit Enclosures."
