Pinch Clamp (for re-sealing headlights, or similar tasks)
thingiverse
I created this clamp because I was reassembling some headlights and needed something to apply pressure precisely where the clips hold the glass to the rest of the headlight housing - normal clamps just weren't getting it done. These worked perfectly and proved to be extremely strong when printed in the right direction in ABS. They may also prove useful for other applications, but if you've disassembled a headlight assembly to black out the housing or perform a retrofit, I highly recommend printing out a few of these to help with reassembly. Print Settings: You will need to print out 2 of these per clamp, and I recommend printing in the default orientation of the STL file (laying it on its side) as this will give the part the most strength. Post-Printing Hardware: These are designed for a 1/4 inch diameter bolt with a minimum 2 inch length - I'm using a 4.5 inch length bolt in the photos. You will need one bolt, one nut and two washers per assembly.
