This clasp is designed to accommodate a transparent face shield for workers wearing hard hats or safety caps. The clips attach to the rim of the hat or the visor of the cap. A transparent 200-micron-thick plastic sheet, 8.5 x 11 inches in size and pierced with at least four holes using a perforator, can then be clipped onto the clips' prongs at either end or on the sides, as seen in the example photos: * Hard hat: Using all four lateral prongs * Safety cap with long visor: Using all four end prongs * Safety cap with long visor: Slit + 2 clips with lateral prongs * Safety cap with short visor: Using two end prongs in front and two lateral prongs on the sides This design is a collaborative effort between Vincent Dujardin and Antoine Saunier, working with the BlueLab in Saint-Nazaire: https://www.thingiverse.com/VDLAW https://www.thingiverse.com/AS_pic https://www.thingiverse.com/Blue_Lab A general user manual for the distribution and cleaning of protective visors is available in the attached files: VISIERES NOTICE FABLAB.pdf.
