PINBALL: Williams drop target microswitch mod
thingiverse
I'm the mod for the Williams drop targets. Williams created three drop target versions using identical mechanical components. One had slide contacts on the back, one utilized leaf switches, and the other used microswitches. I possess the model with leaf switches, which were in poor condition, so I decided to construct the little micro switch brackets myself. Ensure the switches aren't triggered when the reset mechanism returns. You can easily bend them or utilize an adjustable wrench to shift the entire bracket slightly. This technique works well. Assembly Instructions: 1. Increase the microswitch screw hole using a 3mm drill. 2. Attach the print onto the metal. 3. Mount the microswitch onto the print. 4. Bend over the microswitch. 5. Gently adjust the bracket into the perfect position using an adjustable wrench. Required Components: 6x M3 screws and nuts 6x computer screws (or the original screws from the leaf switches) 3x microswitches I purchased those microswitches from China, and they cost only 1.50€ for ten of them!
