Pinball Plunger

Here's how to make a pinball plunger for a virtual Pinball: Check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QyE_S92_xhk https://youtu.be/iLL0WrlGMDI When you assemble and install it, the plunger makes a satisfying clank. To build this plunger, you'll need to buy 2-3 springs, a switch, and a half-inch rod. In my build, I used two 3-inch length springs with an approximate 8-pound force rating. The outer diameter of these springs is about 0.7 inches. One of the springs gets cut in half. The switch I used is a V7-2B17D8-048. This switch is overkill, but I had one lying around from a previous project. You can glue or screw the endcaps into place. The endcaps already have holes drilled into them, so you just need to mark the rod and drill a hole about 1/16 inch in diameter for a screw.
