Pinball Plunger

Making a Pinball Plunger for Virtual Pinball https://youtu.be/iLL0WrlGMDI Assembled and installed, this plunger makes a satisfying clank. To build it, you'll need to purchase springs, a switch, and a 1/2-inch rod. Two or three springs should be enough. For my build, I used two 3-inch length springs with an approximate 8-pound force rating. The outer diameter of the springs is about 0.7 inch. One of these springs needs to be cut in half. A V7-2B17D8-048 switch can be used for this project, although it's more than necessary. I happened to have one lying around from a previous project. The endcaps can be glued or screwed into place. There are pre-drilled holes in the caps, so you'll just need to mark the rod and drill a 1/16-inch hole for a screw.
