I grabbed a makeshift tool and managed to pry the lamp decoration loose from its socket, a crucial step in my DIY project. Unfortunately, I had misplaced the original key over the years, so this substitute had to do. It was an uncomplicated yet surprisingly effective solution that got the job done.
