I recently constructed a brand new IKEA kitchen from scratch. Although the company's tall cabinets were nowhere to be found, I cleverly solved the problem by stacking two standard units on top of each other, thereby achieving my desired full-height cabinet. This ingenious solution not only satisfied my needs but also proved to be a cost-effective alternative. To ensure that the stacked cabinets remained securely connected, I created a custom tool specifically designed for drilling holes in wood, allowing me to precisely position and align the pins that held everything together.
