This is a remixed case for a Tufty 2040. I modified the files to include a space for a 3v CR2 battery, flipped it around to work in portrait mode, tweaked the buttons a bit so they are easier to use in gloves or by large hands and recessed the nut and bolt holes. I printed it in PLA on my Qidi X-Max3 at .2mm layer heigh, .2mm layers highly recommended for this. The Tufty case pin is optional, you need 2 and they are there simply to help align the battery hump to the bottom of the case. Only the top really needs support when printing, the over hangs in the case bot and case hump can be bridgedI only gave the parts a quick sand and hit it with some spray paint and marker pen, I really should have spent a bit more time post processing to get a better lookAssemble it by gluing the hump to the bottom with super glue, using the pins to align. Get some battery contacts AA or AAA size, one with a spring (I got mine from an old torch) and attach (I soldered) to them to wires connected to a JST connector and glue them in to the ends of battery compartment with a drop of superglue. Then plug the battery connector into the Tufty, position it over the holes in the main case and bolt the top on with 4x12mm m2 nuts and boltsYou should be able to use a finger nail to push the power button on the bottom to turn it on an off. To connect it a USB cable you might find the plastic around the connector a tight fit in the hole I left in the case, sorry, I had to cut away some of the plastic around the USB connector to get it to fit. I should of made that hole a bit larger.
