Pimoroni Pirate Radio Speaker Mod
thingiverse
This is my first design - a little box to replace the back of the Pimoroni Pirate Radio. The link to this product can be found here https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/pirate-radio-pi-zero-w-project-kit. It's still far from HiFi, but in my opinion the radio sounds at least a bit better with this design. Print: Print upside down (the speaker hole is located on the heat bed). Assembly: - Remove the stand, backplates and the speaker. - Place the nuts into the box's nut holes, secure them with tape so they don't fall out before tightening the screws. - Put the speaker in/on the box with the cable coming out the side hole. - Mount the box & speaker on the radio. Update 2017-08-19: Increased size of screw/nut holes. Update 2017-08-21: Moved nut hole further to the front, otherwise the screws are too short.
