Pimax + Vive DAS Adapter

Hinges and clips allow users to utilize their Vive DAS with their Pimax 5K or 8K headsets. There are shorter and longer versions of the side hinges available, depending on the size of the user's head. No support is required for the top clip. Individuals experiencing issues with the clip snapping onto the top adapter can use a Pegged version, which is more reliable. Those ordering these parts to be printed may want to opt for this version as it will not break easily. Due to its tight fit, pliers are necessary to remove it once installed. The side of the peg with an indentation should face away from the front of the headset when inserted. The Vive DAS can be purchased here: https://amzn.to/2VJpDHm Additional recommendations include acquiring thicker padding from this website if a tight fit cannot be achieved (Make sure to select the 20mm version): https://vrcover.com/product/htc-vive-deluxe-audio-strap-foam-replacement/ Instructions for installing the side adapter can be found here: https://thingiverse-production-new.s3.amazonaws.com/assets/33/48/2d/c9/49/Tut.jpg An updated side adapter version that can be printed on its side has been added. The old side adapters have been removed to prevent confusion, as Pimax has made it difficult to remove the front facemask. Fortunately, the new side adapters can be attached without having to remove the facemask.
