Pilot kneeboard tablet holder
thingiverse
This addon fits my homemade pilot kneeboard perfectly. It holds a commercial tablet's silicon soft-shell on one side, secured with low profile screws threaded into brass inserts. On the other side, it features a classic cardboard and paper holder. You can easily switch between faces in flight by rotating the device along its axis without needing to open the binder rings. This simple motion can be performed with a single hand, without having to look at the device. I added press buttons for a quick and blind hold fit, as well as a simple lock mechanism that prevents the press buttons from unlocking while in place. These buttons aren't particularly tight, so the lock ensures they stay secure. The original design is tailored specifically for a Galaxy Tab S5e.
