Pillow Shaped Project Feet
thingiverse
This classic pillow-shaped project foot includes files for 20mm and 15mm square bases, with a 4-up file available for the larger size. The 15mm version was an afterthought, while a 10mm size experimented poorly due to unclear SkeinForge settings. To prepare these feet, lightly sand the beveled bottom surfaces using 220 grit sandpaper and follow up with 400A sandpaper for added smoothness. Leave the parts on the platform during sanding; holding the platform while sanding a raft-attached foot can save time. Avoid using these feet on expensive hardwood surfaces, as they may scratch the surface. A clever alternative is to glue cut pieces of soft rubber eraser to the bottom or fill the indented space with rubber cement for added protection. Attach the feet to your project chassis using glue, metal screws, wood screws, or nuts and bolts, with mounting hole sizes of up to 4.5mm DIA for the 20mm version and 3.3mm for the 15mm size.
