<p>This is a small pill despenser for seven days of a week.</p><p>Two round neodym magnets 8x3mm (diameter x height) are used to hold the axis of the turnable cover. The magnets have to be inserted during a printing pause e.g. using the color-change option of the slicer. Take care for the correct magnetic polarity when inserting the magnets to make sure they attract each other when assembled.</p><p>To prevent the cover from turning accidentially snapping notches are designed in the base and the cover. The printing should therefore be done with high vertical resolution (≤0.1mm), otherwise the turning friction can get very high directly after printing. If the friction is too high after printing, some forceful first rotations are necessary to abrade the micro-steps of the printing. After a while the haptical feeling gets smoother and smoother.</p><p>As a nice sideeffect of the magnets the Pilldespenser7D (mini) is stackable. This can be usable if you want to use two or more pill containers e.g. for morning and evening pills.</p><figure class="media"><oembed url="https://youtu.be/VwW0HpuoskA"></oembed></figure>
