Pillars for Märklin bridges

Pillars for Märklin bridges

From the 1950s until the early 1970s, Märklin produced a range of bridges made from high-quality tin. To support these bridges, two pillar models were offered: the 7064 and 7065, both measuring 30mm in diameter. Unfortunately, many of the original pillars manufactured during this period have deteriorated over time due to distortion and deformation, rendering them unusable. In response to this issue, I redesigned the pillars to accommodate new sizes, including 6mm and 30mm, as well as a larger 60mm option that Märklin had never previously offered. A double-bridge variant can be found on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2783344
