Pillar Drill/Router Multi-Function
thingiverse
This was crafted with 45 BR aluminium profile, 400mm in length for the base and 475mm for the vertical dimension. The Drill vice is adjustable left and right via the use of 6mm studding, offering precise control due to its 1mm per turn mechanism. Two 6mm nuts in the vice base ensure secure adjustment and stability. Similarly, two nuts are used in both the Rotary base and Milling base for identical reasons. Adjustment forward or backward can be achieved by implementing a setup akin to indexing adjustment. The Vertical length is secured using 45mm wide timber brackets, also supporting the drill motor. These are firmly fixed with 10mm bolts (20mm long). Three different handles are included: one with holes suitable for long bolts or shafts, and another featuring two types of racks - one for T slide nuts and the other employing standard 4mm bolts with washers. A T-nut/wing bolt serves as a temporary drill stop. Some drawings may appear slightly different due to ongoing revisions and additions. Detailed parts/assembly lists can be found in accompanying text files, set to be uploaded tomorrow.
