Hey everyone, this project is finally complete! Check it out here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/x224E - I used Blender for the initial modeling of the shape, then took it to Sculptris to add some serious details. From there, I brought the model back into Blender and reduced its geometry using a copy. Finally, I imported it into Substance Painter where I baked in both normal and height information from the high-poly version to give it that realistic look.
