Pill taking glass
thingiverse
My wife requires taking a pill every morning at precisely 5am. To facilitate this daily routine, I created an innovative device to help her wake up and take her medication on time. The process begins when she goes to bed by filling the glass with water and carefully removing the pill from its packaging. She then positions it on top of the specially designed "pill-taking glass." The next morning at 5am, all my wife needs to do is drink the water from the glass. As she consumes the water, the pill naturally follows the path into the glass's internal channels, allowing her to continue sleeping without any interruption. This clever design ensures that she wakes up to an empty glass and a peaceful slumber. The device I created features a unique transparent bottom made of Natural PLA plastic. Although it appears as though there is no bottom to the glass, it actually has a 2mm depth that provides structural integrity while maintaining its see-through appearance on my kitchen counter. After unveiling my creation to friends, one of them sent me an image of a similar product called the Pill Taker Cup, which can be found on Amazon. While I should have done some research beforehand, this serves as a testament to the concept's validity.
