Pill Cutter

I was impressed with Palmer's Pocket Razor Blade Tube Filament Cutter, but I wanted it to divide pills almost perfectly in two. So, I asked him if he could upload the base model (with pre-notched holes) and he kindly agreed. With this update, it became an easy task to insert a "V" shape into the design and carve out the finished product. One additional tweak was reducing the top and bottom width by 2%, ensuring the razor blade fit snugly in place. The screw accommodated this minor adjustment without complaint. I used PLA material and incorporated 10% honeycomb infill for my build. Feel free to experiment with different materials and infill settings - Palmer's design is robust enough to handle a variety of combinations. Just remember, one crucial tip: only press the blade down until you hear a distinct click sound. At this point, the pill will be neatly cut in half. Pushing the blade all the way through tends to crush the pill slightly instead.
