I created it to assist a family member in dividing his pills into two equal parts. Each slot can accommodate two tablets or pills with a diameter of 10mm, allowing a total of ten pills to be cut at once. Insert a regular kitchen knife into the 1.25mm slot and press down gently with your palm to make the cuts. This tool is versatile and can be used to divide anywhere from one to ten pills as needed. A smaller version with a single pill slot has also been included. I hope this design will prove useful to others as well. P.S. I have removed the last name of the person for whom it was designed.
