Pill Containers (printed with flexible filament)
thingiverse
I print using flexible filament. Specifically, I used SainSmart Red TPU, while a friend opted for eSun Flexible PLA. Both worked well. When working with flexible TPU, I suggest printing at a slow pace - around 20mm/s or less. This will ensure a smooth output. My design goal was to create pill boxes that fit comfortably in my pocket, capable of holding a handful of aspirin in a portable container. If you want a tight-fitting container, try printing the bottom with PLA and the lid with flexible filament. However, I don't recommend this approach unless you have strong hands, as it can be difficult to open. My wife, who is quite robust, still has trouble opening a rigid-based lid.
