Pill Container
thingiverse
For this project, we were tasked with creating a design based on a brief provided by Kijenzi in collaboration with Penn State's HESE initiative: "A low-cost container that can be quickly printed and sent home with patients is required. This container must be able to store daily pills or medication for up to two weeks at a time." We took inspiration from the weekly pill dispenser model, where lids are typically hinged, but also considered the option of making them one solid piece. My partner Elena Corro and I, Amelia Reinert, designed a single week pill container that can be easily replicated by printing it twice to provide two weeks' worth of medication. The design features sliding lids, seven compartments, and slightly rounded edges for comfort. Note: Please ensure the files are flipped before printing as they appear upside down.
With this file you will be able to print Pill Container with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Pill Container.
