Pikes Peak
thingiverse
Pikes Peak in Colorado rises dramatically from terrain constructed using 1 arcsecond resolution SRTM data captured by the Space Shuttle. Approximately 0.87 million facets went into creating this detailed landscape, all made possible with a cutting-edge, unreleased version of SRTM2STL software. Meanwhile, source code for generating files at 3 arcsecond resolution is freely available on GitHub under the terms of the GNU license. Simply head to GitHub and search for SRTM2STL.
