Pikachu is a compact, rotund rodent-like Pokémon with a vibrant yellow coat of fur. Its ears are elongated and pointed, featuring distinct black tips at the end. A small mouth and brown eyes adorn its face, while two prominent red circles on its cheeks serve as a striking visual feature. To store electricity, Pikachu has specialized pouches within its cheeks. Its forelimbs are relatively short, with five dexterous fingers on each paw, and its feet boast three toes for balance. Two distinct brown stripes run along its back, while its tail takes the shape of a lightning bolt, featuring a patch of earthy brown fur at its base. A female Pikachu can be identified by a distinctive V-shaped notch at the end of its tail. Despite being classified as quadruped, Pikachu has been observed standing and walking on its hind legs with ease.
