Pikachu is a creature from the Pokemon series of games, manga and anime, it is one of the special creatures of the fictional universe - Pokemon. Pikachu evolves from another Pokémon, Pichu, and Pikachu itself can later evolve into Raichu. In the fictional world of Pokémon, Pikachu often live in houses, forests, plains, sometimes mountains and islands, as well as as abandoned power plants around the world. As an Electric-type Pokémon, Pikachu can store electricity in its cheeks and use it to attack if necessary. The in-game Pokédex states that Pikachu is a mouse Pokémon.
