Update 11/21/2016: I've revised the tail's position, moving it closer to the body so there is no longer a small gap that made it fragile. Removing this piece of support caused me to break many tails in the process. Hopefully, this change will be beneficial. My daughter's beloved little thunder mouse is back in an exciting new pose. I designed it for her to have a favorite Pokémon to fight against Team Rocket's evil powers (I also created a Pumpkaboo for her). She loves carrying it around and making it attack. My ultimate goal is to print the model life-size and display it proudly. How It Was Designed MeshMixer was used to create the entire model. I started with a Pikachu OBJ file, solidifying it and then performing extensive mesh manipulation to achieve a more natural body pose. Once that was accomplished, I tackled clean-up and smoothing to ensure the model was 100% solid and print-ready.
