PIGZ
thingiverse
PIGZ are an amusing novelty print featuring a pig's head or face with an internal spring that causes the nose to move in and out when you press on the spring base. Additionally, due to contact between the internal spring and its surroundings or the spring movement itself, PIGZ even produce a faint grunting sound - try it for yourself! They can be quite a conversation starter, particularly during meal times or as a way to discourage people from eating when they're on a diet. This design is simple yet looks great in any color. Scaling down is not recommended because it reduces the size of parts, making them weaker and also decreases internal clearances, which makes fusing more challenging. However, scaling up is possible to some extent, but going too large can result in excessive clearance between the built-in support and the model's base. Take your time to read the instructions, print settings, and post-printing notes, as well as view all images, to ensure a successful grunting outcome. Lastly, please share photos of your PIGZ with other members so they can see how it turns out! If you enjoy this design, be sure to check out my other fun and practical designs!
