PiGRRL Zero Buttons with 3DS Letters
thingiverse
I'm working on a remix of the 4-button pad from the PiGRRL Zero kit, giving it a fresh design inspired by the layout of the iconic 3DS console. My initial spin features recessed letters on each button, but I think they're maybe a bit too deep. I'll probably update this version soon to make them shallower and more visually appealing. The second iteration has much more subtle letter recesses - we're talking less than 1mm of depth here, which is a far cry from the original 5mm. This design is intentionally built with painting in mind, making those letters really pop off the buttons. I might revisit this after a few print runs to see if there's room for further improvement. For those who prefer a different layout, I've also added an Xbox-style model - it's all about giving users options and letting them choose their favorite design!
