Pigrrl dpad rocker
thingiverse
The standard directional pad was somewhat awkward, causing problems with up and down inputs as well as left and right presses, regardless of how far back I positioned the board from its housing. It also didn't quite have the feel of an authentic d-pad. I created several different diameters for a cylinder that could fit snugly between the buttons to function as a rocker, aiming to recreate the sensation of a traditional directional pad and reduce instances of accidental key presses. Some putty was used to secure it in place between the buttons. Only compatible with the Pigrrl Zero. The buttons on the Pigrrl 2 have a smaller gap, requiring adjustments to the design.
