The buttons for the PIGRRL2 are crafted to function seamlessly with hard buttons and TPE. However, I encountered a challenge when using my TPU filament without TPE - the rubber dome buttons would scrape against the sides of the case, resulting in an unpleasant pressing experience. To address this issue, I implemented a "strap" system where flexible TPU filaments are hot-glued to the case. This ingenious design adds just the right amount of flexibility, preventing the buttons from hitting the sides of the case and making them feel decent on the rubber dome buttons. When attaching the straps, be sure to apply glue at one end, as shown in the first picture for reference. You can also experiment with different shapes, such as those depicted in the image.
