PiGrrl 2 bottom for Charge Status LEDs
thingiverse
Yay! Another remix! This is a compact adaptation of the (pigrrl2-bot-v1-2) PiGrrl 2 that provides an easy spot to install some 3mm LEDs for charging status, as they are nearly invisible from within the PiGrrl. Since the Powerboost 1000c only features one low battery LED breakout pin, I removed the SMD LEDs from the board and rigged up my own LEDs. One wire connects the 5V side of each SMD LED to the positive terminal of all three LEDs, then a 330 ohm resistor is added after each LED. The green and yellow wires lead directly to their respective pads on the board (where the SMD LEDs were originally mounted) and the red wire goes straight to the LBO pin. The LEDs fit snugly into place in my setup, but I secured them with a small drop of superglue once everything was wired up.
