This is a compact PVC pipe hanger, designed to keep two pipes tightly spaced so pigeons cannot fly between them and into the top of the coop. I fasten mine on a 1x2 furrowing strip, then secure it with tacks. On a second strip, I mount identical spacing of mounts. Next, I slide the PVC pipe into place on the secured side, then carefully remove it, moving back and forth until the entire ceiling is covered. Finally, I secure the removed side. Since the PVC pipe rotates freely, pigeons cannot get a grip or force their way through into the "attic" space of a standard garden shed. This creates a cleaner coop environment, allowing you to install fans without worrying about pigeons flying into them. This setup also makes catching pigeons easier by keeping them contained within a designated area. The current spacing is approximately 2 inches and suits 1/2-inch PVC pipe perfectly.
