This contemporary pig skull originated from a roasted pig and underwent defleshing at the hands of John Bush, then a Virginia Commonwealth University student. The skull was expertly 3D scanned using a NextEngine Desktop 3D scanner. Initially, the entire roasted pig head had been scanned before being defleshed; this initial scan is available for download here: Roasted Pig Head.
