A Pinterest picture (http://www.machinationswales.co.uk/automata.html) served as inspiration but lacked mechanisms, so I created my own design. Using Solidworks 2015 for modeling and Simlab Composer 6 Mechanical Edition for rendering, I produced frames that were later edited in Virtualdub and saved as AVI/X264 and BMP formats. MyMP4BoxGui was used to remux the video into MP4 format, while PhotoScape helped create GIFs. Editing renders with IrfanView enhanced the final result. The 3D-PDF, ZIM, and SIMLAB files all contain animations, with the ZIM file viewable on iOS and Android devices through the free Simlab Viewer app. Additionally, the model is available in various formats, including Solidworks 2015, Simlab Composer 6, DAE, STEP, IGES, STL, Parasolid, OBJ, 3D-PDF, SketchUp, 3DS, and ZIM.
