Pig
thingiverse
Human: This 3D printed pig model is inspired by the comic strip "Pearls Before Swine" created by Stephan Pastis. The pig character in the comic is known for being kind but extremely naive, often telling jokes that revolve around his own incompetence and lack of awareness about his surroundings. This 3D printed model requires no additional supports, making it a great project for beginners. With the right filament colors, you won't need to paint the model at all. The completed model stands at an impressive 150mm tall after assembly, and its proportions are in line with other models from the comic strip that I've also shared. To print this model, use the following settings: Printer: FlashForge Creator X Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: .2mm Infill: 10% When printing and assembling this model, keep the following tips in mind: Printing Tips: 1. As mentioned earlier, no supports are required. 2. If you want to use a brim on one piece, it's up to your discretion based on your own preference, especially for pieces like the tail that have a very small base. 3. To get the best-looking model, make sure to clean up any excess brims or squish thoroughly. This includes the holes for the body bumps. 4. Due to design challenges, the arms are quite tight and may require some cleanup after printing. Assembly Tips: - The assembly diagram below will guide you through the process, which is relatively straightforward. - The model needs to be glued together carefully. - Make sure to clean off any excess first layer squish or brim before assembling the pieces. - The eyes are interchangeable, with no left/right differences. - The model stands on its own, but a base is included for extra stability if needed.
