sketchfab
In the Navalahija excavation site, located on the Navalvillar pastures in Colmenar Viejo, a massive stone artifact was discovered during the 2015 works that would have served as a "workbench". The pórfido stone from the area features a dotted zone and other friction surfaces. It has been interpreted as a work element where tools were polished, tanned, and prepared. Dated to around the first half of the 8th century AD, this artifact measures 36.5 x 14 x 12 cm in size. Authored by Carlota Pérez González and the A team of Archaeologists.
