Piece of armour with lion head
thingiverse
I was on a mission to find the perfect shoulder armor pieces to complete my kids' wedding costumes, and after some research, I decided to go for it - making them out of foam using Evilted's fantastic tutorials seemed like a great idea, but since I needed 5-6 of them, a 3D printer became the way to go for me. This was my first try at printing with my machine, and I'm thrilled to report that it worked amazingly well, with results looking fantastic! I made some minor adjustments to the original mesh and added a lion logo to give it an extra special touch. However, the pivot point turned out to be too thin for my kids' usage - unfortunately, they managed to break them off during playtime. I found it quite challenging to attach the broken pieces securely to their costumes. In the end, I decided to share this design on Thingiverse since the overall result was excellent and perfect for costume purposes, but I eventually started from scratch and created a new design that better suited my needs and my kids' high-energy play style.
