Pie Tosser
thingiverse
This is my take on the classic pie face game, built entirely with 3D printed parts except for three rubber bands. To play, apply a layer of whipped cream to the pie tin and take turns spinning it. The number of clicks required to turn the handle corresponds to the outcome displayed by the spinner. Place your chin on the rest and get ready to take your turn - if it lands on a certain spot, you'll be hit in the face with a blast of whipped cream. This version features two sets of gears that rotate at different speeds, resulting in varying trigger times for each spin. While not truly random, this mechanism adds an element of unpredictability. To increase the challenge, you can give it several extra spins after each round to prevent opponents from guessing the outcome. If anyone has photos of the internal workings of the original Hasbro game, I'd love to see if my design is comparable. Future updates will be posted separately.
