Pidgeotto From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Pidgeotto (Pigeon), known as the Bird Pokémon, is a larger and stronger form that Pidgey becomes when it gains enough experience. It is a large raptor-like bird with brown primary coloration. Its elaborate plumage is much more ornate than its pre-evolution, Pidgey. A reddish head-crest extends far beyond Pidgey's, while its tail feathers alternate between red and yellow in a vibrant display of colors. Its basic coloration otherwise mirrors Pidgey's, featuring pinkish-gray feet and black markings around its eyes. Extremely territorial, Pidgeotto claims large areas with its nest positioned centrally. Full of vitality, it constantly patrols its territory, ruthlessly attacking any intruders that enter. While hunting, Pidgeotto flies in circular patterns, effortlessly spotting the movements of prey on the ground from great heights. With wickedly sharp talons, Pidgeotto attacks and carries its prey, including Exeggcute and Magikarp, back to its nest from distances of up to 60 miles or more.
