To assemble my project, I used a right-angled mini USB connector available on Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074C8ZLYC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. In addition, I discovered a rubber grommet that fits perfectly into the hole on the side of the box where the wire passes through.
