PID Controller Box

PID Controller Box

thingiverse

There are several PID control boxes available on Thingiverse, but I found that most of them lack a visually appealing design, which is why I created this one. The print itself measures around 195mm in length along its longest dimension, making it suitable for printers with beds that measure at least 200mm or i3-type printers. I added a "Please Drink Responsibly" text to the lid for testing purposes but decided to remove it later. If you think it's worth keeping on the lid, let me know and I'll consider adding it back. To assemble this project, you will need the following components: * A standard PID controller, such as the InkBird ITC-100VH model * An IEC 320 C14 Panel Mount Plug Adapter (available at https://amzn.to/2GOtrlo) * A US 3 Pin Power Socket Panel Mount (available at https://amzn.to/2VBYpoO) * Eight 1/2" #6-32 panhead machine screws * Four 1/4" #6-32 buglehead machine screws * Three #6-32 nuts * Approximately five feet of stranded 18-gauge wire * Approximately three feet of stranded 12-gauge wire * Crimpable wire connectors (optional but recommended) If you need a wiring diagram, just let me know and I'll add one to the project. The only challenging part is soldering wires individually to the nuts, which will allow you to use screw terminals on the back of the box without modifying your existing temperature probe's cable.
