For SJSU's Mechatronic Capstone (ME 190) course, our term project involved designing a system using a PID controller. Our aim was to assist in creating a lab for San Jose State University's Mechanical Engineering Department where students would calculate the mass moment of inertia of an 8020 material metal frame and then determine the appropriate Kp, Ki, and Kd values for the controller based on motor parameters before testing their calculations. The project files, including Arduino sketches and reports, can be found at https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=970B749993A4ED13!4573&authkey=!AONjRIC2-ewPP7Q&ithint=folder%2cdocx.
