If you create an artistic display for your handiwork, such as a picture frame or greeting card, you might need one of these to showcase it effectively. I assembled this item, and it seems to function well. The only challenge is that you'll require a pin for the hinge piece, but there are numerous options available. A simple nail is probably the most easily-found choice. You could also use a two-inch or five-or-six cm finishing tail, which would likely work as long as you file the point to be less sharp. Alternatively, a straight piece of 14 gauge (14 AWG) solid wire, commonly used for household wiring, would probably fit as well. An M2 machine screw might also work if you have a long enough one on hand. I personally used the shaft from an aluminum rivet, which worked nicely too. Attach the square piece to the back of your frame, picture or card. I employed hot glue, but there are mounting holes in case you prefer to use wood screws. This item's usage is quite straightforward, so not much else needs to be said about it. Perhaps I'll create additional sizes if there's sufficient interest in the future. Oh, and I should post a photo of the actual item when I have some time.
