The initial design for this compact box was a 4x4 inch template found online and intended to be used as a desk organizer. For its creation, I opened the template in Adobe Illustrator and removed the top side of each face. The other sides were flattened at their tops except for the bottom. Next, I traced my images onto each side using Illustrator's live trace feature, including the base. After printing the box on acrylic with Epilog Laser at raster settings of 100 speed and 60 power, and vector settings of 10 speed, 100 power, and 5000 frequency, I assembled it using acrylic glue.
