Pictograms for BLV NeoPixels
thingiverse
These pictograms are designed to be applied to the BLV cube and its NeoPixels, providing a clearer understanding of the tools and functions assigned. This set includes separate pictograms for the heat bed, printhead, and current print status. I've built my own front panel with mounting rings that have been precisely aligned. Therefore, the orientation of the pictograms may vary from the original design. Nevertheless, your mounting orientation in relation to the ring threads may differ as well. That's why I've included a set of caps with varying angles in steps of 60 degrees, ranging from 0 to 300 degrees. You can identify them by their file names. It's up to you to find the ones that fit your rings in the desired orientation. I recommend starting with 0 degrees and adjusting the offset as needed. The second set should then be adaptable. The Sketchup files are included, allowing you to modify them according to your needs. My caps were printed using a color-changing technique, where one layer transitions into another, facilitated by the PrusaSlicer and filament changes at the necessary layer height. Those with dual extruders, MMUs, tool changers, or other advanced equipment may find this particularly useful. You can also experiment with transparent materials and attach LEDs behind them for an added effect. It would be great to see your ideas and creations!
